It’s at the top of the list because we actually get this question a lot. The proper pronunciation is “rah-men,” not “ray-men.” But we won’t judge (as long as you’re not talking with your mouth full).

Here in the U.S., we have two manufacturing facilities: Gardena, California, and Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

We currently don’t have plans to sell the seasoning separately. (We’re a noodle company after all.) But we continue to develop new product offerings based on consumer input.

Some people enjoy breaking up Top Ramen to snack on like potato chips or to sprinkle on top of salads. Since the noodles are already cooked, they are totally safe.

Use only a portion of the seasoning packet to flavor to your liking. Or simply add your own blend of spices.

Our date code follows the MM DD YY format.  The first two digits represent the month the product will expire, the next two are the day, the next two are the year.  The last two codes are just for us – they indicate the time that the product was produced.

Cup Noodles contains no FDA-certified synthetic colors.

Many of our products contain tertiary butylhydroquinone (TBHQ), which acts as an antioxidant and helps extend shelf life.

Yes! The noodles in Cup Noodles Stir Fry were specially created to emulate that undeniably delicious stir fry taste and texture.

The ideal stir fry meal is tossed in a sauce rather than a soup. That’s why Cup Noodles Stir Fry requires less water than our other meals—but it’s just as simple to prepare.

Add room temperature water to the fill line engraved on the inside of the cup (= 6.4 fl. oz.) If you can’t locate it, look for the line printed above the microwave directions on the outside of the cup—and refer to those instructions for perfect preparation.

Unlike the Original Cup Noodles® which are intended to be prepared using boiling water, the Stir Fry product and cup were created exclusively for the sustained heat of microwave preparation to fully rehydrate the noodles & sauce. Preparing Cup Noodles Stir Fry with boiling water would result in soup-like experience, not stir-fried noodles tossed sauce

The biggest difference: No pot needed. Just add water, microwave for 3 minutes and enjoy Top Ramen anywhere! Plus, Top Ramen Bowls come with an additional liquid sauce packet that lets you customize the flavor like never before.

Beyond the classic Top Ramen seasoning you know and love, each bowl features its own flavor-specific sauce—teriyaki for Chicken, garlic for Shrimp and sesame for Soy Sauce. Top Ramen Bowls also come with a packet of veggies—bell peppers, green onions, corn, carrots—and no added MSG.

Yes! Just like our blue pouches, the Top Ramen Soy Sauce bowl is vegetarian. Enjoying a meat-free diet is now even easier!

Nissin takes pride in our products and we want you to be satisfied with your order! If for any reason within the first thirty (30) days you are unsatisfied with your item, you may request an exchange or refund.  However, no returns or exchanges will be accepted for apparel items (e.g. hats, shirts, sweatshirts, and other clothing items) or seasonal items (e.g. Halloween costumes).  Please refer to sizing and measurement guidelines available on the Site in order avoid problems with your order. If you notice your item is defective, you must report this to us within 30 days of receipt. We may request a photo of your defective item to determine the appropriate course of action. All requests for a refund or exchange made after thirty (30) days from Customer’s receipt will not be honored, no exceptions.

We offer flat rate shipping on our orders which is 3-5 day ground shipping. For orders over $50, your shipping is free! Nissin Foods is committed to becoming more sustainable and evolving our practices to support consumers and the environment. Eliminating polystyrene foam from our products and reducing the use of plastic is part of our journey to make the packaging of our new and legacy brands more sustainable.

Transitioning the packaging from polystyrene foam to recycled paper allows the cup to be microwaved. The new cup is designed to keep the noodles warm and not impact the dining experience.

Chicken, Beef, and Shrimp flavors will now be in a paper cup and microwavable, and still have the same great taste.

The cup is not currently able to be recycled in most communities.

The sleeve is made with 100% recycled paper and is recyclable.

The case is recyclable.

We’ve been using the polystyrene cup since its U.S. launch in 1973. It was selected because it was lightweight, easy to use, and kept the product warm while protecting the user from the heat.

It took us several years to find an option that allowed us to keep all the things that consumers love about our product—taste, convenience, and value. While there are many sustainable packaging options, we didn’t want to compromise on any of those features. This current cup allows us to deliver the same experience while reducing plastic.
